Campuses

Temple University’s Main Campus, which is the central administrative site of the University, is located in the heart of Philadelphia. The sprawling 115-acre campus is just two miles north of bustling Center City, which is the city’s financial, cultural, historical, and retail hub. With a population of more than 1.5 million, Philadelphia is the second largest city on the East Coast and ranks fifth in the nation. The City of Brotherly Love is located 100 miles south of New York City, 130 miles north of Washington, D.C., and 60 miles from the Jersey shore.

Main Campus can be reached easily by public transportation using the 4 bus on Broad Street or 3 bus on Cecil B. Moore Avenue, the Broad Street Subway (Cecil B. Moore Avenue stop), Amtrak at North Broad Street Station, and the SEPTA Commuter Rail Lines at 10th and Berks Streets. For a campus map or directions, click on the university building  .

Graduate Student Housing

Inquiries about the housing needs of graduate students are managed by the Office of University Housing and Residential Life. Campus Safety and Security

It is Temple University’s policy to provide to all students with a copy of Temple University’s policies and procedures regarding campus safety and security, as well as crime rates and statistics for the most recent three-year period. In doing so, Temple University complies with two important pieces of legislation: the Pennsylvania College and University Security Information Act, and the federal Students' Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act. The annual security report may also be downloaded by visiting www.temple.edu/safety.

Career Development Services

Temple University offers a variety of career options to graduate students. The Career Center provides high-quality resources and services to students, alumni, and employers. It is a central site for students and alumni to research careers. The Career Center is also the place for employers to fill cooperative education internship positions. Counselors help students and alumni alike in moving their careers into high gear and achieving their full potential.
