  Postdoctoral Position in

Development of Neuroimaging Biomarkers Based on DTI in Spinal Cord

A new position is open for a postdoctoral fellow at the Temple University Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center in the Department of Radiology for the duration of one to two years. The candidate will primarily work on an NIH-funded study on the development of neuroimaging biomarkers based on DTI in spinal cord using novel imaging techniques. S/he will also have the opportunity to explore her/his own independent scientific interests on 3T and 7T (animal) scanners. Recent Ph.D. graduates in Physics, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with MRI experience are encouraged to apply. Significant knowledge in neuroimaging, particularly in diffusion imaging, and programming experience in Matlab, C/C++ are desired.

  Postdoctoral Position in

Balance and Posture in Adults and Children with Cerebral Palsy

The research specialist is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and execution of research studies pertaining to the overall objectives of the Virtual Environment and Postural Orientation (VEPO) Laboratory. Working under Richard Lauer, Ph.D., the individual will engage in the analysis of balance and posture in adults and children with cerebral palsy, computer adaptive testing, biomechanics, and electromyographic analysis. The successful candidate will prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations; assist with recruitment, coordination, and implementation of grant-funded projects; and perform biomechanical and statistical analyses of data. Proficiency in motion analysis and biomechanics software, including MATLAB and CORTEX, is required.

Cardiovascular Disease and Metabolic Disorder

The cardiovascular laboratory at the Temple University School of Medicine under the direction of Hong Wang is looking for postdoctoral fellows to study mechanisms of cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorder.    Postdoctoral Position in

Anti-Inflammatory Research
